General Motors (GM) has officially launched MPV production line at the factory Chevrolet Spin Bekasi (Indonesia).

Besides for the domestic market, small MPV model will be exported to other countries in Southeast Asia such as the Philippines and Thailand.

Chevrolet Spin will have 2 versions of engines, including 1.5L petrol power 107 hp at 6,000 rpm / min, 148 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpm / min, accompanied by 6-speed automatic transmission and the 1.3L turbodiesel capacity of 75 horsepower, 190Nm of torque, combined with 5-speed manual gearbox.

Car ownership size 4.360mm long, 2.620mm wheelbase with 162 liters of luggage space when all seven passengers and can be increased to 864 liters when folding 3rd row seats folded and 1608 liters when the second row seats. With 191mm ground clearance, Spin runs on 15-inch wheels wrapped in tires 195/65.

Like Thailand, Spin will be in Indonesia for the LTZ, including the standard equipment: air conditioning front / rear, 4-speaker CD/MP3 reader. Connect USB, Bluetooth, ABS brakes and dual airbags.

The annual capacity is not mentioned but the Bekasi plant can produce 40,000 vehicles / year.
