- Palouse, agricultural areas located in Western North America has always been inspired by the photographer's eye views of the picturesque hills of grass.
Located in south Spokane, Palouse is a rich agricultural area of nearly 780,000 hectares, mainly used for producing wheat and legumes. With the characteristic look of the green hills and vast natural spaces, Palouse has become an ideal destination for photographers.
The topography of this area is particularly beautiful with hills, mud dunes covered with thousands of trees and deep fertile soil for a Palouse scenery picturesque. Formed thousands of years ago, this large grass hill origin are sand dunes with slopes reaching 50% levels. Despite the improvement of the grass hill people but still keep the original beauty as the new form.
Currently, most become Palouse prairie farmland and towns. It is estimated that only less than 1% of the original vegetation of the Palouse to exist. This makes people worry that this ecosystem where risk is gradually disappearing entirely.
