Ford will add 200,000 vehicles in 2013 ~ news car.


Manufacturer of Ford cars in the U.S. have announced that they will increase production capacity of 200,000 vehicles annually to more units this year after increasing its capacity to 400,000 units last year.

In addition, the automaker also said it will shorten the traditional summer vacation of two weeks to one week in most of its assembly plants in North America to help increase production of 40,000 units car anymore.

Vice president for North American manufacturing Jim Tetreault said: "To meet the growing demand of customers for selling their cars, we are continuing to run at full capacity in the facilities in North America and will add 200,000 cars this year. Approximately 75% of our plants are operating three shifts, four detonators to ensure our agents are providing the product. "

The increase in production to 200,000 units this year will mainly focus on the assembly plant in Chicago, Flat Rock and Kansas City. The vehicles will be increased production of some of the best-selling car for Ford, including the Ford Explorer, Ford Fusion and Ford F-Series.
