Withdrawal 6000 Mercedes A-Class for airbag fault ~ news car.


Mercedes-Benz has announced the recovery of nearly 6000 A-Class in Germany airbag fault.

According to Bloomberg, the representative of Mercedes-Benz - Mr Wolfgang Zanker - said the airbags are fitted on the A-Class model could not inflate in crash tests. The models subject to the recall were manufactured from June through March 12/2012.

This is the second time this month to conduct Daimler product recall airbag fault. Earlier, on 6/5, the group has conducted error 3500 Mercedes-Benz Citan of 10,000 units were sold in Europe.

Pattern recall A-Class this time will most likely affect the competitiveness of Mercedes-Benz in Europe in an effort to win back the top luxury car market from BMW. In April last, Mercedes sales worldwide surpassed both its BMW and Audi, the car driven by the A-and B-Class.
