General Motors recently announced to invest a huge amount of up to U.S. $ 44.5 million to install a production center for logistics optimization Grand River assembly plant, the city of Lansing, Michigan.

GM said it will use an amount of investment plans described above to construct a building with an area of ​​400,000 square meters to cater for the vehicle assembly plant alongside the Grand River. This will help the manufacturing operations of the plant to become more flexible.
