Through exclusive agreements and cooperation with Capital Automotive Ltd. company., A subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate Capital Diamond Star, officially joined Ford automobile market of Myanmar.
Through the company signed with Capital Automotive, Ford will become the first car manufacturer in the world to provide comprehensive solutions for cars in Myanmar.
Before the end of this year, Ford will open a showroom for customers Myanmar to introduce all the cars and trucks worldwide firm, representing all segments of the car. The cars will be imported directly from the manufacturing plant of Ford globally in North America and Thailand.
Ford Dealer of the first to be completed in Yangon will provide a comprehensive solution including sales, service and spare parts. The whole design of the facilities and activities of the agency are to meet the global standards of Ford. Ford and Capital Automotive is expected to expand facilities in other provinces as business development. Pickup Ford F-Series line of pickups and global brand-new Ford Ranger will be one of the first cars available in Myanmar.
Myanmar has the advantage of a strategic location between India and China, and borders with Thailand, Ford's operations center in the ASEAN region. This is the main supplier of car products and logistics services in Thailand, as well as products worldwide car and truck directly imported from the U.S. in Myanmar.
