Honda Civic can not find a foothold in the Indian market

Honda, the car brand 5th largest in India, is not only the sole manufacturer faced with such situations. In the second most populous market world, the D segment cars such as the Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Elantra sales fell 29%, to 19 239 units in 2012. Clearly, Indian consumers prefer smaller cars such as Honda Brio Amaze consumption of 3.9 litres/100km.

In another move, Honda Jazz will launch a new car model in India next year, before the introduction of the innovative City sedan, a SUV and a MPV.

In Vietnam, the new generation Honda Civic official debut in August 2012 with a price of U.S. $ 725,000,000 (the 1.8 liter MT), U.S. $ 780 million (a 1.8 liter AT) and U.S. $ 860 million (a 2.0-liter AT)
