Peugeot confirmed months ago that the 2008 car's engine will be equipped with 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder, 110 horsepower capacity. To compete with rival Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 will probably be the version 4-cylinder diesel engine. The standard version includes automatic and manual transmission.
