Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 officially released


- Street racing version of the Chevrolet Camaro will be available from early 2014.
Chevrolet has officially unveiled a street racing Camaro Z/28 at the New York International Auto Show 2013, the car was built from the standard Camaro version. Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will only variations coupe, and is named after the first racing version Camaro cars with a capacity of 290 horsepower.
Built from the newest Camaro, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 new version of 2014. According Leftlanenews, Camaro Z/28 equipped with accessories aerodynamic package, which is designed to increase the pressure on down the road when driving at high speeds. The car has a new front bumper and wider lower air diffuser system rear side of the vehicle and be expanded, with new high-performance exhaust system.
Inside the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 2 +2 design remains the same as the standard Camaro. Front of the vehicle consists of two Recaro racing seat, to help optimize weight. Rear seat structure was modified to reduce the weight by 4 kg for the car.
Beneath the hood of the Camaro Z/28 block LS7 V8 7.0-liter engine from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Although not the most powerful engine Chevrolet created, but this is one of the motor has good power and is ideal for a street race car. The car was developed with Corvette Racing parts, the engine is made entirely of aluminum, with dry oiling system, titanium valves and shaft. The car also has the cooling system and K & N air filter, replace the system standard on the Camaro.
