March: Japanese car market continues to overwhelm U.S.

American consumers are gradually shifting from truck to buy midsize sedan segment, which is actually taking place in the U.S. market in March last.

Accordingly, car sales in March recorded the rise and rivalry of the midsize sedan segment with the top 3 names are Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. However, the pickups like the Ford F-Series and Chevrolet Silverado are still two names topped the list of 10 best-selling cars in America.

Top 10 best-selling cars:

1. Ford F-Series - 67 513 units
2. Chevrolet Silverado - 39 561 units
3. Nissan Altima - 37,763 units
4. Toyota Camry - 37 663 units
5. Honda Accord - 36 504 units
6. Ram Pickup - 33 831 units
7. Toyota Corolla - 31 423 units
8. Ford Fusion - 30 284 units
9. Ford Escape - 28 934 units

Nissan Altima Toyota Camry surpassed sales of vehicles in the U.S. market

In March, the European car from Volkswagen Jetta ranked at No. 24 with 15,000 units sold. One other surprise is the Jeep Wrangler with 12,901 units sold and in the top 30 best-selling models.

Wrangler enduro is extremely fuel efficient and stylish property but no less aggressive and youthful personality. Consumers choose the car just to go to work everyday use and even roader.
