Carlsson car company from Germany will launch a whole new level from a Mercedes-Benz at the Geneva Motor Show 2013. It is the Carlsson SLK 340, the brand new version of the Mercedes-Benz SLK.
The car was built from scratch with a carbon fiber shell, whereby Carlsson SLK 340 weighs about 780 kg. The heart of the car's 3.4-liter V8 engine block, with a maximum capacity of 610 horsepower, 430 Nm of torque. All this power is transmitted through the system Hewland transmission with paddle shift lever under the steering wheel.
The car is equipped with KW suspension with three modes to optimize adjusted by operating conditions, this race car is equipped with BBS wheels with size 18x10 inches in front and 18x13 inches at the rear, combined with AVON tires. Braking systems are also upgraded with brake discs made of lightweight materials, help optimize weight while maintaining safety, in addition there are other car racing chair developed by Fiberworks.
