Tata Nano going to have more "junior" Cheap
- New popular form of Tata vehicles will be manufactured from composite materials instead of traditional steel or aluminum.
Besides Nano, Tata is now planning to produce a new cheap car. According to the group from India, popular new cars will be made of composite materials instead of traditional steel or aluminum.
Some sources said that Tata has completed the production of prototypes and rookie starting safety testing. However, Tata has no intention of putting up a new cheap car production line in the near future.
Tata will try to stabilize the business models currently. Then, the new Tata car models and introduce new technologies in the Indian market.
Tata has bought the rights of the new composite technology from Marcello Gandini, an Italian invention. He was the first ever use of composite materials on supercars like the Lamborghini Miura and Countach.
Now, when it comes to composite materials, people often think about carbon fiber already very familiar with the supercar world. However, carbon fiber is quite expensive. Thus, Tata industrial use alternative materials called poly-diallyl-phthalate (PDP) to produce cheap cars. The PDP panels and molds will be used to replace the body shell and chassis with steel pedestal base.
PDP is lightweight, durable and cheaper than steel or aluminum, in terms of materials and structures. The steel hull requires 500 more. Meanwhile, PDP just 25 hull mold. So, the car will be lighter and improve fuel economy and safety than by the strength of PDP. Condition itself caught vibration and noise inside the cockpit also reduced.
Temporarily, there is no official information about the launch date of the new cheap car Tata. Indian carmaker will initially test and improve sales of conventional products. After that, they focused their resources on the development and distribution model revolutionary new.
