Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz sales in Japan were up 12%, Korea 16%, Taiwan 16% and increased to 37% in Australia.
Mercedes-Benz also added that the company's growth in North America was primarily due SUVs, and other markets in the compact family car line A-Class and B-Class. Although the A-Class cars and B-Class has not been brought to the U.S., but the two cars sales have increased by 50% in the first quarter of 2013, with 77 044 vehicles sold.
