Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB: Dedicated to China


- Just as BMW and Audi, Mercedes-Benz has developed specifically for the Chinese market the E-Class long wheelbase version.
Chinese customers have special tastes with the car long, if Americans have a saying "bigger is better", the Chinese people will probably fit the "longer is better". And most of the luxury car manufacturers are building separate the long wheelbase version for Chinese market. Mercedes-Benz is no exception, with debuts the new E-Class LWB at Shanghai Auto Show 2013.
The main advantage of the E-Class LWB obviously wider space of the back seat, when the car was extended by 140 mm. According to Mercedes-Benz, the quality of the E-Class LWB also improved. The new car is 5,019 mm in length, while the wheelbase is 3,014 mm. This version is 140 mm longer than the standard version, and is built exclusively for the Chinese market.
In addition to extending the car, Mercedes-Benz has added features adjustable front seats of the E-Class LWB from the backseat, to create comfort for the "boss" in the rear. The car is supplied with the engine variant with a capacity from 204 hp to 333 hp, all equipped with automatic transmission.
The first is the E250 BlueEFFICIENCY L engine with four-cylinder direct fuel injection with a capacity of 204 horsepower, followed by the E300 L with a

capacity of 245 horsepower, and the E400 L with a capacity of 333 horsepower. Mercedes-Benz will also complement this model of the L E400 Hybrid.
Besides extending the car, the E-Class are almost identical wheelbase E-Class the standard.
