Maserati out competitive new Mercedes E-Class

 
Ghibli luxury sedan 2014 is the new name of the Italian car company, aimed at rivals such as Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series.
The official images of the 2014 Ghibli sedan was released just ahead of the Shanghai 2013 car show. With this new model, the Maserati seemed to target the luxury sedan segment, moderately priced to compete with cars from Germany.



                                     Maserati Ghibli will increase choice in the luxury car segment.Style, Ghibli is designed to catch the eye, quite similar to the "elder" Quattroporte, but the size and price were lower. Although detailed information on the specific size of the car is still hidden, but the length of Ghibli is predicted only 5 meters.
According to some sources, the original Ghibli will be sold in two versions 3.0-liter V6 engine, a gasoline and a diesel. Thus, the Ghibli is the first Maserati cars equipped with diesel engines.



Specific parameters of the two engine types are yet to be announced. However, the Ghibli is expected to own the block 410 hp with petrol engine and 330 hp diesel engine.
Currently, there is no official information from the other motor version Maserati Ghibli, but many analysts believe that the Italian carmaker will add use a V8 version for the sedan to this matter.

All engine versions of the Ghibli are using ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox with a splendid move. Besides, Maserati also install mode four-wheel drive vehicle and driven back.
More detailed information about this luxury sedan will be unveiled at the Shanghai car show to come. Maserati hopes can consume about 50,000 cars a year by 2015.
