Hyundai Veloster recovery for error glass sunroof


- There are about 13,500 small-sized three-door car is in the area to be recovered than by the risk of broken glass sunroof when the car is running.At the request of U.S. authorities, Hyundai will have to withdraw about 13,500 the Velosters to replace the glass in the sunroof due to the potential risk of rupture when the car is running.A spokesman for the U.S. Transportation Security Administration said it had received 11 complaints from customers reflected in the window glass panels were shattered during use.
 
According to the agency, some broken glass even when the car is running on the highway at high speed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported due to this error.
Hyundai said that negligence in the manufacturing process makes the glass not be mounted in a standard sunroof system. Hyundai will inspect and replace the glass with the risk of error if necessary. This is done absolutely free.
Not all the Velosters cars are equipped with glass sunroof, only the the Turbo Velosters and the customer version set new separate options fitted.
The recall applies to vehicles manufactured from November 1, 2011 to April 17, 2012. Hyundai will soon send notices to vehicle owners for them to get the car to its dealers to check and replace.
