2014 Chevrolet Spark will be equipped with CVT gearbox
Chevrolet today confirmed its small car Spark 2014 will use stepless CVT gearbox, replacing the 4-speed automatic transmission now.
Chevrolet Spark is now a successful small cars on the world market. With its compact size, the Spark is one of the bestselling cars in urban areas for many years in Asia and Europe. To be willing to match the United States, GM Chevrolet Spark has given a new look more special. Spark standard version is equipped with 1.2L 4-cylinder engine to power 85 horsepower to go with 5 speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic.
The fuel consumption of 7.35 ltr per 100 km in the city, 6.19 and 6.92 ltr per 100 km highway combined lit/100 way consumers complained that it does not save gas, such as what Chevrolet announced. Therefore, Chevrolet will equip new gear for small cars to improve fuel consumption.

In Vietnam, the Chevrolet Spark is currently only distributed with version 5-speed manual gearbox, with 2 LS and LT versions, there is no automatic version.
