Ford truck recall 230,000 minivans worldwide

Ford Motor has announced the recall of 230,000 trucks minivans worldwide to troubleshoot corrosion makes it difficult for 3rd row seats can be folded to be the same.
This recall affects 196,500 vehicles FORD FREESTAR and Mercury Monterey in life from 2004 to 2007 and the number of 33,500 vehicles in the market, mainly Canada.

In the U.S., the entire mini trucks are sold and registered in 20 states and the District of Columbia. Ford said it has not received any complaints from customers about the error.

To solve these problems, Ford asked the dealer to install new seats and move the latch out of the area likely to corrode. Manufacturer will bear all costs of the repair process.

List of states affected by the recall include Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island , Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
