Affected by slow sales and poor quality reputation, Alfa has left the U.S. market in 1995 to focus on activities that are experiencing difficulties in Europe. Nearly two decades later, the company was based on a line of innovative products with unmistakable focus on performance to attract Americans from the showroom BMW and Audi.

Alfa products first arrive in the United States will be the 4C two-seater mid-engined with the same size as a Lotus Elise and is expected to launch later this year.
Shortly after the launch 4C, Alfa plans to expand the product line with a small crossover version based on the same platform as the Giulietta hatchback and Dodge Dart as well as a so-called mid-sized Giulia sedan.

"We think that future Alfa sales will be slightly larger than the Fiat," said Peter Grady, director of network development Chrysler said in an interview with the magazine reporter Reuters.
