2012 was its best year of the Porsche brand

Luxury car brand Porsche announced car sales in 2012, up 22% compared with 2011, reaching more than 143,000 units.
This is a record that sports car brand iconic of Germany achieved, in which models achieved impressive sales growth was 911 with 26,203 units sold, up to 49%.

North American market is still the most important market of Porsche as sales of cars sold in the region have increased 34% to 39,192 units. In China (including Hong Kong), Porsche sold 33,590 vehicles, an increase of 32%. Sales of cars sold in Europe (except Germany) of Porsche reached 31,094 units, up 8%, while in Germany, the brand sold 16,090 units, up 16%. In the remaining areas, sold by Porsche car sales reached 23,130 units, up 19%.
Porsche also announced the production growth of 19% in fiscal 2012 to 151,999 units, sales rose 27 percent to 13.9 billion euros, while operating profit rose 19 percent to 2.44 billion euros. 2012 was also the year the Porsche hiring more employees, 17 502 people.
