Visit the small natural island in Slovenia ~ travel

- Located in the northeast of Slovenia, Bled Island is the only island nature of this beautiful country with poetic natural landscape, many tourist attractions.

 

This small island is located between the town of Bled lake Bled in Slovenia autonomous. The area has natural setting makes the picturesque Bled island to become tourist destination not to be missed for visitors.

 

On this island there are many buildings and a church of which is the name of the Pilgrim Church of Mary was built in the 15th century. Church tower with a height of up to 52m, was led up by 99 steps below.

According to the written record, in the 15th century the church was repaired from a Roman basilica, and renovated again in the 17th century after an earthquake. Lake Bled is also the area attracts many boating enthusiasts. This used to be the venue for the rowing world championships.
