Bulgaria plans to commission festival ~ travel





- It's on the first Sunday in June, the city people Kazanluk (Bulgaria) to the busy festival commission - "specialty" land of paradise flowers.


Bulgaria is known as the land of the flowers, especially the species roses Kazanluk (Sophia 250km from the capital to the east). Roses are people here loved, revered and regarded as a symbol of beauty, the queen of flowers. To appreciate and honor the noble species roses, the people "rose valley" generally rose festival held on the first Sunday of June.


Rose Festival was first held in 1967 in Pavel Banya. At this festival, the farmers and the dancers (called "koukeri") dancing together in the traditional music of Bulgaria. This activity was later to become the type of carnival tradition in the commission of the Kazanlak and Karlovo.

 
To get roses for the festival, the girls have to go picking flowers from dawn. When picking very smooth, true, the new model retains the aroma and make crushed petals.

 

In each flower festival has three main activities: harvesting ritual in the rose garden, the commission voted Queen of the Year and parade along the streets of the town.

Visitors from around the world come to the city on this occasion to enjoy the essence of beautiful pink flowers here. They are given the garlands around the neck with fragrant roses and buds are pink wine cup constant waves, fragrant incense rose.
