Audi A7 can use hydrogen fuel ~ news car.





- Motor system using hydrogen fuel for Audi A7 can be tested in August next.
Hydrogen Fuel has always been referred to as an interesting alternative for fuel cell systems generally. Green fuels, but this brings the advantage of engine power, thanks to the availability of natural hydrogen is stored in the air, and emits absolutely no emissions but water creates.
According to the British magazine Autocar revealed, Audi will begin testing the system with the engine running on hydrogen fuel A7 in August, however, this is not a production version.In fact, this is not the first attempt by Audi to develop engine technologies using hydrogen as fuel, the company has developed a test the Q5 in 2009. However, there are different system than what is about to take on the Audi A7, though luxury car company does not give details about what is to be tested.
Hydrogen fuel can be burned directly in the combustion chamber, which improves efficiency and improve emissions. There was also a car equipped with this technology is the Aston Martin Rapide, a car recently attended 24h Nurburgring.
According to Carscoop, Audi seems disoriented in the development of green cars, which are placed on the ambitious electric car. According to latest reports, Audi has completed testing the electric vehicles, but is not clear why the R8 e-Tron is not mass produced nor sold.
Meanwhile, parent company Volkswagen XL1 ready put into production, the super fuel-efficient car uses diesel-hybrid. Europe's largest carmaker also has the Jetta Hybrid uses a 1.4-liter internal combustion engines with electric motors.
