Alfa Romeo 4C: The new mystery is revealed ~ car loan

Carbon fiber is used to fabricate monolithic framework of the Alfa Romeo 4C. This is the main load-bearing components of the chassis, helping Alfa Romeo has just slightly firm. Reportedly, the frame weighs only 65 kg.

Alfa Romeo tightly controlled manufacturing line technology carbon fiber chassis and inspired by Formula 1 cars to production standards. According to Alfa Romeo, its plant is the only one able to create over 1,000 carbon-fiber chassis per year.

Aluminum is used for parts such as chassis systems enhance roof strength for the front and rear frames. The brake rotors combined aluminum and steel, so that 2 kg lighter compared with conventional types.

The body shell of the Alfa Romeo 4C compounds made from SMC, which decreased by 20% compared to the weight of traditional steel. Meanwhile, the front bumper and rear diffuser are made of PUR-RIM, a material 20% lighter than steel. Even the windows of the car were made from ordinary glass thinner.

Alfa Romeo confirmed that the 4C will each be examined by an experienced driver. Vehicles were tested on 40 km long distance driver like super expensive. Maximum of 3,500 units per year will be shipped Alfa Romeo 4C, which has 1,000 cars for the European market.

 European customers can get Alfa Romeo 4C late September this year. Meanwhile, U.S. customers have to wait until the 2013 Los Angeles exhibition took place at the end of November this year. The price of the Alfa Romeo 4C will be announced before the vehicles on the market.
