External form of the Renault Talisman is essentially the same Samsung SM7
Benefits of owning many brands around the world are able to sell the same product under different names, in different markets. Renault is taking advantage of this.
French car manufacturer has officially eyes Talisman car, which is in fact Samsung SM7, in the China Auto Show 2012 is taking place in Beijing from 23/4 to 2/5.
Like a SM7 in Korea, Renault Talisman is equipped with Nissan's two V6 engine choices: a 2.5L 187 horsepower and torque of 243Nm (179.3 lb-ft), while the 3.5L for 254 hp and torque of 330Nm (243.4 lb-ft), combined with stepless CVT gearbox or 6-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission can shake the floor.
This is not the first Samsung models labeled Renault. Previously had the car Koleos (developed based on the Samsung QM5) and Latitude (developed based on the SM5).
Talisman vehicles will be produced in the Korea parallel SM7 form, but only for export to China, with the standard price 318,800 yuan (about $ 50,500). The first batch of vehicles is expected to be present on the market since mid-June.
