Ford unveiled the EcoSport European version

U.S. carmaker Ford has launched the production version of the all-new EcoSport SUV for the European market.

EcoSport will be equipped with the system connected to the Ford SYNC voice-activated SYNC Emergency Assistance. In addition, this compact SUV will be one of the first Ford cars in Europe use SYNC AppLink, which allows customers to use the Voice app, from internet radio to the control support.

 
 




"We are entering the era of the car connecting and EcoSport debut at Mobile World Congress emphasized the importance of advanced technology vehicles to consumers as well as the Ford," said Paul Mascarenas, chief Ford's vice president of engineering said.

EcoSport will be the 2nd SUV Ford for consumers in the old Continent, after Kuga appear near here. Besides, the U.S. carmaker also plans to introduce next-generation Edge in Europe, a luxury multi-purpose vehicle.
 




Was based on Ford's global B-car platform, the EcoSport will bring harmony between value, quality and fuel consumption.

In terms of performance, the EcoSport will be equipped with advanced EcoBoost 1.0L engine, 125 horsepower, 1.5L petrol engine producing 110 horsepower and 1.5L diesel 90 horsepower.
