Electric cars may be the right choice?

Up to 1/3 of the electric car ownership in Japan said they would not buy this car.

Survey results of the market research firm McKinsey found that about 1/3 of all electric cars in Japan are attracted by the prospect of saving energy costs, the subsidy program and the attractive good test drive results, but then descending the favorite when they encounter problems such as high electric bills and have little electric car charging stations.
"From now until the price dropped enough people use to promote the development of infrastructure, the manufacturers how to build and maintain customer loyalty to expand market electric cars, "the author Axel Krieger, Philipp Radtke and Yoshi Takanuki wrote in the survey report.
Mr. Dave Sullivan, director of product analysis firm AutoPacific Inc.., For that there is no surprise that some Japanese consumers will not buy electric cars again. "Electric Car technology is seen as an item, so that poor update. Mobile quickly outmoded, and electric cars seem like that, which makes consumers feel like they are using tape while all the kids have iPod ".
Sales of electric cars in the U.S. has increased three times in 2012 and passed the 50,000 mark, but much lower than most of the earlier expected.
U.S. President Barack Obama had expected the carmaker can sell 1 million electric vehicles in the U.S. in 2015, but then had to withdraw. A few months ago, a number of carmakers, including Nissan and Toyota, have put some plans large-scale electric vehicle production to shift to traditional hybrids. Ford predicts only 5% soanh U.S. of them in the coming years is fully electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrid car is about 20%.
Mr. Sullivan said that the consumption of electric cars in the U.S. today is mainly based on the stimulus program from both the government and the manufacturer, not from the main attraction of the cars.
