76,253 Acura TSX stick recovery plan

 

Honda just issued a recall for 76,253 Acura TSX, due to errors related to the engine of this luxury sedan.

By Honda given information, the Acura TSX is located in the company's recovery time in the 2004-2008 version.

In Honda messages sent to the U.S. Transportation Safety Administration, the Acura TSX corrosion problems and footwear in the driver's floor carpet wet and then damaging details metal and electronic control system located under the car.

If water is leaking into the engine ECU control system, motor system may shut down unexpectedly.

The Acura dealer will receive and inspect the car, if found guilty, the company will proceed to replace the carpet and waterproofing devices if necessary. Honda's recall campaign will be conducted from April 11.

From Japanese carmakers also adds, no accidents related to this error is recorded.

According Leftlanenews, this is not the first time Acura TSX stick recovery projects in recent years. In 2010, Honda had to withdraw 167,000 TSX to fix the power assist steering system.
