Mitsubishi's anxiety stems from the nature of demand for small cars in the U.S. market. In particular, sales of small cars will increase as fuel prices by the month. Then, when gasoline discounts, consumers will not buy small cars.
The Mitsubishi Mirage at the exhibition launch in Canada is not a random decision. Canada is not a big market like the U.S. but popular hatchback cars.
