Chrysler 300 diesel version in the U.S. can


- Chrysler is considering bringing a diesel engine version of its luxury sedan in America.
The German automaker is quite successful with models equipped with diesel engines in the U.S., and Chrysler is also considering bringing diesel version of the 300 "repatriation". In the past, Chrysler will be sourcing diesel engines, the company now has to rely on partners from the company's European, that's Fiat. Currently Chrysler 300 European version - which is the Lancia Thema, available diesel version.

According to the Chairman and CEO of Chrysler, Saab Chehab he revealed to WardsAuto sheet, which is another consideration to take Chrysler 300 diesel version to the U.S., final determination has not been made.
Speaking to WardsAuto, Mr. Chehab said: "Chrysler is considering making the diesel engine in Thema sale in Europe and America. Only problem now is that customers are willing to pay for a Chrysler equipped with diesel engines. "
